The night was so dark and there is no people in Vespuchi beach. Just wind blowing up from west to the east. suddenly, the night was shocked by someone who walked with a limp. His name is James. James is one of famous drumer metalcore music who come from Las Vegas. James was so extremely drunk cause after his performance at the stage. He feels so drunk and uncontrolled himself. Vespuchi beach was so quiet and no one people that living there. James just keep walking and don’t thingking what happend in arround him. He just thingking how to passed the Vespuchi beach. James suddenly falling down and unconscious.

The morning was coming and people start to begin their activity. James still unconscious till someone found him and try to erect him. Slowly but sure James try to open his eyes. He asked with little angry, “who are you ? and what did you do ?”. She answer his question kindly, “calm down, i just try to help you, and i saw you from my workplace” with point toward a small shop at near of parking area. She introduces her name to James. “hay, my name is Maria, but you can call me maryam” said her. James said,” oh, ya. James, James Cassels. Maryam smiles to James and said, “come on, let’s get up. I’ll help you to go home James. James looks her face with sarcatic face and said, “ no,no,no. Enough ! i don’t need your help ! i can stand by myself and go home by myself !. Maryam smile and let him to go.

Maryam is one of employee who worked at fisher shop nearby Vespuchi beach. She is cute and has hispanic face because her father is Spainish and her mother is American. Maryam is 23 years old and she is unmaried. Maryam is muslimah since 15 years old, before she converts her believe, she is catholic and now she is muslim. Her parents follow her to convert as islam. Maryam is name who come from when she convert her believe. Now maryam always using scraf as muslim. Today Maryam has schedule as cashier. She always give her best performance either appearence or service. Many people like her because she is good girl and always smile to everyone.

3 days have passed. James calls Rusty to ask about their vacation. James and Rusty are close neighborhood and they always spend their vacation togheter. Rusty asks James to spend their vacation by fishing and playing beach volley because Rusty has a beach volley ball comunity. James aggres with Rusty and planning their vacation on Sunday. before vacation james spend the time to train for another week he will be performing with his band. Like ussual, James always drinking liquor and get drunk when he was training.

Rusty calling James to make sure that he has prepared all of the stuff to fishing and playing beach volley. James decides to go fishing shop nearby vespuchi beach. He was met Maryam. “ hey, you are Maryam ? isn’t it ? “ said James curious. “yes, i’am mate. Can i help you mate ? said maryam. “ i’m just looking for fishing rod, can you suggest me which one is the best ? ask James. “The best choice is Allah.” Said Maryam with  grin face. James confused and asks “why do you talking about ?”. Maryam says,” i suggest you to choose Allah, because Allah is True God. James little fed up and says,” i don’t know what you mean, i’m here just looking for stuff to fishing but you are talk like stranger and i want my best fishing rod !”. Maryam just smile and answer his question friendly, “i’m sorry mate if i make you angry, but i just wanna give you a good suggetion, fishing rod is like a our weapon to catch a fish. It could be better that you learn about islam, here i give you a small book to guide you to Islam. “ what ? how dare you saying like that for me hah ? i don’t believe that god is exist, and you are pathetic !” snap James. Maryam just smile and takes a fishing rod and give it to James. “how much ?” said James. “its free for you, let me i give to you. James laughing and says, “ hahahaha you are so funny girls, hey wait a minutes, you are the person who helped me at the beach ? and now you are give a book and fishing rod to me ? what does it mean ?”. “Go home and read it mate. Maryam gives an order to James.

James was thingking what a Maryam said and thingking why she suggests me to Islam ? does Islam is right ? does she is not human ? but, she is so beautiful and i think i fall in love with her, but wait a minutes, she is different from else. She cover herself with scarf and not expose her body to people. Hmmm what happend to me ? ohh. James is confused and try to understand what her mean.

The vacation is coming, James and Rusty are going to Vespuchi beach and spend their vacation to fishing and playing volley ball. “hey James, this is our time bro, but why do you look like sad ha ? oh, let me guest, you are forgot to bring your liquor hah ? hahaha.” Said Rusty filltring James. “Ah, hell no, i was thingking what a Maryam told me.” “ah, forget it bro, she just try to filltring you, you know ? women ways bro hahaha.” Said Rusty to make sure to James.

James looks unhappy and bored. He only sit down and buy a beer at cafetari and think about what the content of the book. He opens one by one of the pages and read about how Islam teaching each person to respect each other. He decides to go shop fishing to see Maryam. However Maryam was not there. James try to looking for Maryam and ask to the owner of the shop. “excuse me sir, do you know where is Maaryam live ? “ asked James. “she lives at Saint Jimmy number 182, just cross the local hospital.” Said the owner of the fishing shop.

James was canceled his vacation and decides to looking for Maryam’s home. Arriving home of Maryam, James tried to knock on the door and asked the man who was at home Maryam. But the owner of the house said that Maryam had almost a week did not stay longer in the house. And he said that Maryam had returned home her parents in San Francisco. James asked the owner of the house, "what led him away from this contract?" Then the owner of the house said, "Maryam decided to go because she was unable to pay the debt to me, and he also had to care for his parents who are sick.

James tried to find information about Maryam and the clean firm wanted to meet her. James asks for help to the owner rented to contact Maryam. But whatever the power, Maryam had left the rented without leaving a new address or new phone number. James is getting jumbled, he insists to meet with Maryam immediately. After that, James left the rented Maryam and decided to walk to find a mosque.

Inside the mosque James felt scared and confused because he never entered completely into the mosque and even he did not believe in God. He felt uneasy and scared when he did wrong in the mosque. Hesitantly she tried to greet someone who is resting in the mosque. James was surprised because it was someone who was resting in the mosque is a man with a very pale face and apparent exhaustion.

"Hay, who you are?" Asked James curiously. The man replied, "take it easy son, I'm just a traveler who is looking for my daughter, and I just finished praying. "Who does you're looking for, sir? "James asked curiously. "I'm looking for my daughter who was long gone, and she is a lovely girl." The statement makes James was confused and asked again. "Who are you looking for the daughters's name, sir?" "I'm looking for a woman named Maryam. She is my beloved daughter, she had already two days gone.

 They have decided together to find Maryam and with the help of makeshift instructions they try as much as possible. Along the way they meet up with a band of brigands in action in an alley. Target them is a woman. Suddenly James tried to help the woman and consequently the robbers managed to cut and run away to escape. James immediately to help that woman and how shocked he saw the woman is Maryam.

Mary? What are you doing here ? why are you so desperate to pass through streets deserted? James asked with a worried face. Mary answered with fear, "I'm just trying to keep my things because these things will I sell to stores across there. But they hurt me and I was almost killed them. "Maryam pointed towards her stomach and she suffered puncture wounds deep enough.

James and Maryam's father tried to bring Maryam to the nearest hospital and ask for help to the nurse. Maryam condition deteriorated due to prolonged loss of blood. With a well-preserved condition in hospital, Maryam suddenly breathed his last breath and died from blood loss. James had just heard the news finally sad and could not hold back his tears.

Maryam's father tried to sincere and accept the situation that she was dead. During that time, Maryam's father found a note that contains about complaints Maryam in finding a life partner and he described James. James is a figure that she craving desire but unfortunately James was not a Muslim. And that's why she begged anyone who knows this desire to ask to invite James to Islam.

During that time, James began studying Islam, and he became a personal moment and obedient also in religion. James even had to leave the dark world that is as alcoholic and he is now also raised a foster child from the family of Maryam. James then taught to trade like what Mary did before. James was excited to live their lives and even he felt happier than ever before.

James felt happiness that makes it always feel grateful, even within one and a half years he intends to learn memorize Al-Quran. As the days passed, James tried to practice what Maryam ever taught him. In his quest to discover the identity, he faced various trials that are not easy. Along his love which began to grow in Islam, he began to be tested by the emergence of doubt and anxiety whether he did this dive properly.

At one point he met a gang of thugs who are drinking liquor. James, who was the first ever in the dark days like thugs trying to remind people of that person. But James reminds mean even considered disturbing to these thugs. In fact they speak against James. "Hey stupid, are you sure that you worship god exist? and if god was certainly punnished just because you drink alcohol and get drunk? "shouted one of these thugs.

James felt the anxiety in his heart wondered. Is it true that Islam is the doctrine that save the people? whether Islam will take his followers to heaven? whether the world is better without Islam? these questions continue to be a shadow of James and increasingly made uneasy. At one point James decides weeks to pray and pray to Allah SWT. James to be facilitated in her affairs and are allowed to deal with the non-Muslims.

At lunch time James tried to take the time to visit a restaurant in the outskirts of the street when he was busy with trade activities. James heard a little conversation between a father and son. The boy asked, "Dad, why am I not allowed to eat pork? my friends said pork that's good? "then the father replied wisely," Son eventhough we are not a Muslim family. Father forbid eating pork because pork was not hygienic, besides the pig is an animal that is sordid, i won't you to follow the sordid nature of such pigs. "Then the boy only nodded and understood.

James heard the conversation began to slightly open his heart. James felt a little enlightenment and even begin to understand why Islam forbids something. then he thought of it why alcohol is not good. small stuff that is around this unconsciously foster a sense of preponderance of the islam ways.
